Listen to the Wind is a musical about a group of activists who plan to occupy an old growth forest to stop the evil oil company president from poisoning the woods.
A young woman (Penny) who suffered sexual abuse in college joins the campaign seeking something to believe in, while the oil company president’s son (Danny) struggles to break free from his father’s grip and be his own man.
The lovers must help each other overcome their fears if they are to find true love and be true to themselves.
NOTE: Penny’s “I want” song Lonely Place is an emotionally powerful lament. Individuals who have suffered abuse may find the song uncomfortable.
Songs are listed in order of their performance.
